Old Fashioned Fun

Our annual Heritage Play Day took place this past Saturday where we had an afternoon of good old fashioned fun. Parents and children aged 4 to 11 came out and made whirligigs, rocket launchers, totem poles, balancing birds, and more. Low-tech games and crafts using recycled material, creative imagination, and some basic science made for a surprising amount of fun.

Next year, we would like to include some different ideas for heritage games and crafts. If you have an idea, please post it on the blog or get in touch. Thanks!
